National Tree Week 21 December, 2009

Today is the start of National Tree Week! The Tree Council is encouraging all of us to plant a tree in our own gardens, workplaces, schools and parks, in order to provide habitats for wildlife and help moderate the climate. 25 November - 6 December 2009

First mounted in 1975, National Tree Week is UK's largest tree celebration annually launching the start of the winter tree planting season.

Science Museum - PROVE IT! 23 November, 2009

What the world is planning to do about it at the United Nations climate change conference in Copenhagen this December.
